Scott Gentry, Senior Pastor
Pastor Scott has been our senior pastor for the past 20 years. He is married to Leanna, and they have one son, Jesse. He is a Bible teacher who loves to see God's Word come alive in the lives of people. His messages are bible-centered with an emphasis on making the Word the God practical for daily life. He's also an avid guitarist who loves worshipping with the FFMC family.
Jacob Tenney, Youth Pastor
Pastor Jacob has been our youth pastor since the spring of 2010. He is recently married to Heather and they have a dog named Watson. He has an energy and passion for the youth that spills into every inch of his ministry. He loves God and teaches directly from His Word, the Bible. He also enjoys finding new music and deep, theological talks over freshly-ground coffee.
Leon Bovee, Pastoral Care
Pastor Leon has been providing pastoral care for FFMC longer than Pastor Scott has been here! Talk about stability. He brings the compassion of Christ to hundreds of people each year through his hospital visits and personal calls. He is a man of deep faith and prayer who provides great care for the church family. He is married to Eileen and they have two grown children, Patty and Tom.
Debby Lawrence, office manager
The old saying "behind every good man is a good woman" could be rewritten to say "behind every good pastoral staff is a good office manager." Debby is the person who keeps our church office running smoothly. She's also the financial secretary of the church. If you need information about practically anything she's the person who most likely can help. She's a great asset to our church ministry.
Sharon Millard, Director of Christian Education
We have an exceptional CE Director in Sharon. She oversees all of our age-level ministries and works to make sure that genuine Christian education takes place for everyone at FFMC. She also oversees our Child Protection emphasis. You and your family will be confident that you will be able to grow in your Christian faith in a Christ-centered, safe environment.
Director of Outreach
We're committed to make a difference in our community, and Vicki oversees our ministry team that plans and coordinates all of our community involvement areas. She has a heart for people inside and outside of the church. Her passion is to see the church connect with the community knowing the difference that's made when this happens.
Sue Morris, Missions Coordinator
FFMC is committed to world missions, and Sue keeps that focus in front of our people. She oversees our ministry team that plans missions opportunities for our church and keeps us connected with the missionaries we support in several countries around the world. She also coordinates events like our child sponsorship program through the Free Methodist Church's International Childcare Ministry.
Stuart Bergsma, Administration Committee
Stuart oversees the team that cares for our facilities. Our main building, gym/education building, garage and all of our property takes a lot of care. Stuart and his team are deeply commited to Christian stewardship to care for all that God has entrusted to us so that it can be used to make a difference for Christ.
Sue Coker, Director of Kids Hope, USA
Sue directs our Kids Hope student mentoring program. Each year FFMC sends mentors to Webb Elementary School who work one-on-one with selected students. Not only do they help with the academic and social needs of the children, they bring the love of Christ into that relationship and to the school. Sue does a fantastic job overseeing our mentors and has brought great success to our Kids Hope program.
Bill Lawrence, Director of Upward Basketball
Each year hundreds of elementary age boys and girls and their families enjoy an action-packed season of basketball at FFMC. Bill oversees a large ministry team of coaches, refs, devotion leaders, and support personnel that make this ministry happen. It's a tremendous task, and Bill does a tremendous job as our director.
Marilyn Guest, Director of Church Services
We like to celebraate here at FFMC, and that usually means food! It takes a lot of coordination and hard work to feed so many people. Marilyn heads our ministry team that makes sure our events are planned so that our people go away full and happy.
